Hospital Care

The physicians at HFS Pharmacy use the services of hospitalists at area hospitals for the care of our patients who require hospitilization.  Hospitalists are generally physicians trained in internal medicine who have chosen to work only with patients who are in the hospital.

The care provided by hospitalists is specialized and allows both patient and physician to focus on the immediate needs of the illness or recovery process.  The hospitalists keep in close contact with your family physician while you are in the hospital and send a full report to your doctor once you have been released from the hospital.
